Welcome To Northern Lights Elementary School!

Bright Start will be held on Tuesday, September, 5, 2017.  Remember, attendance is mandatory as it is a required school day.  Attendance will be taken by each classroom teacher.  A parent/guardian must accompany each student at all times.

The purpose of Bright Start is to provide a way for all students, parents, and teachers to start the school year in a positive way with the most current school-year information available.

In order to devote quality time with families, we have created sessions.  Please attend the session time listed by the first letter of your child's last name.  If you are unable to attend at the time and/or have children with different last names, please attend the session that fits your family's needs.

Last names A-G  9:00 - Check-In

Last names H-M  10:00 Check-In

Last names  N-Z  1:00 Check-In

Staff members will not be available from 11:30-12:30.

You and your child should should plan on visiting the student's classroom(s), completing the Bright Start checklist, updating your emergency information, and participating in the Community Resource Fair.  Your child will leave with you after the orientation.

General Information:
*Classroom teachers will welcome you and your child in their classroom immediately following check-in.
*Please plan on bringing school supplies on this day.
*A Community Resource Fair will be available to provide supports/information to families.
*Breakfast or lunch will be available for all students.  Adults may purchase a breakfast or lunch.
*If you would like to have a one-on-one conference with a staff member, please contact he or her directly to set up a time.
